About Us

The aim of our professional nursing staff is to look after the physical psychological and spiritual needs of our residents whilst allowing them to live full and empowering lives and retain control of their own daily routine and to be able to enjoy privacy, dignity and individuality.

Kilborney House provides care, comfort and companionship whilst leaving residents free to enjoy the excellent accommodation and wide range of facilities provided.

Nursing care is provided by our dedicated and highly trained staff. Registered Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day specialising in general care, psychiatric care and palliative care.

The local GPs make regular visits.

The menus are planned to offer a healthy appetising diet and to accommodate any special dietary needs.

The house comprises of a grand entrance hall, large spacious living room, dining room single, double and two 3 bedded rooms.

In all we have accommodation for 19 residents all beds are registered nursing beds.

The matron of the home is Mrs Bronagh Morgan (Registered Nurse). Bronagh has worked here for the past 12 years and has an established team of experienced care staff working with her.

She is renowned for her hands on caring nature, her nursing skills, and experience working with the elderly.

Dining room
The dining room with its original fireplace and fantastic views of the mountain is an idyllic setting for meal times.

Living room
The spacious living room with views to the garden is where most of the residents spend their day, enjoying the ambience of their surroundings.

Bedrooms
All bedrooms are bigger in size to the recommended areas stipulated by the governing body The Regulation and Improvement authority.

This enables residents to bring with them any items or furniture that they may want to keep with them.
